Our Story

  • Wonderful, romantic weekend getaway!

    The staff at the Mansion did everything they could to make our trip special. They upgraded us to a gorgeous mansion suite and even sent a bottle of champagne to our room. We felt like royalty for the weekend. The room had a working fireplace, a comfy bed, a huge bathroom, and a sitting area.

    The Wentworth is the quintessential Victorian Age hotel/mansion in Charleston. Every aspect of your stay is meant to take you back in time to the 1860s. From the fireplace in the bathroom to my private balcony, this journey could not have been nicer. Get back in time for the wine and horderves at 5pm. Take advantage of the port. Relax.

  • Beautiful place

    The rooms are fantastic. We had a king room with a great bathroom Stand alone jacuzzi tub and nice shower. Turn down service at night. Mini fridge in room with waters and sodas. Carriage house outside for delicious breakfast.
